This project is a series of AI-assisted videos based on one of my character drawings, inspired by Glasgow's landmarks and my long-standing love of hip hop music. The character is my alter ego, a character that is clumsy, humorous, a show-off, sometimes cowardly, sometimes mischievous, who comes to life in my dream and roams the city carelessly.

In the first piece, inspired by Glasgow’s Necropolis, the character wanders through the dream until the hip hop soundtrack suddenly shifts to a phone alarm, jolting the dreamer awake, reflecting how dreams shift unpredictably between contradictory emotional states.

In the second piece, the character sneaks into Kelvingrove Museum after hours, dancing and running through the empty galleries as though he owns the place, before encountering Salvador Dalí and his pet anteater in front of his painting, a surreal meeting between my alter ego and one my all time favorite painters.

Together, these videos combine my original hand drawn character,, AI-generated imagery, and Glasgow footage, bringing my visual art practice and love of hip hop into a connected series of short narrative pieces.
